For once, Sioux Falls, South Dakota will be in the spotlight next year on HGTV in a home renovation show.
Chelsea (Houska) DeBoer, famous for starring on MTV’s mid-2000s hit shows “Teen Mom” and “Teen Mom 2,” is getting her own show on HGTV.
Chelsea DeBoer will star alongside husband Cole DeBoer in a new home renovation and design show with the working title “Farmhouse Fabulous,” according to a release from Discovery Network, owner of HGTV.
In six hour-long episodes, cameras will follow the South Dakota business owners as they help families renovate their homes. The series is slated to premiere in spring 2023.

“We can’t wait to take our fans along this next crazy journey of building our business from the ground up – with four kids in tow – showing all of the highs and lows on the renovation site and at home,” Chelsea DeBoer said in the release.
Why did HGTV choose Sioux Falls and Chelsea DeBoer?
The couple renovated a modern large farmhouse, featuring it all on Instagram. That’s how attention grew for their farmhouse build.
“After building our dream farmhouse in Sioux Falls a few years ago, we realized we have a real knack for design and home renovation and it’s evolved into our passion,” Cole DeBoer said in the statement.
Members of Pride Built Homes LLC posted a video on their Instagram looking back at when they asked followers to tag HGTV to have their company and their partnership with the DeBoers to be featured for future renovations.
And now, it’s set to happen.
“Chelsea and Cole are spirited young entrepreneurs breaking ground in the home renovation business,” Betsy Ayala, senior vice president of programming and production at HGTV, said. “We’ll showcase their optimism and youthful creativity throughout the series and we’re sure their 8.6 million Instagram followers will love every minute of it.”

Could your Sioux Falls home be on HGTV’s renovation show?
The show is casting right now in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, according to Chelsea DeBoer’s Instagram @chelseahouska. Homeowners applying to be on the show will need two spaces in their home in need of renovation, an existing budget of at least $65,000 and must be located in Sioux Falls or the surrounding area, according to a Google Form that DeBoer linked.
Chelsea, her father Randy, and husband Cole will all star on the show. Updates will be on social media @HGTV and the DeBoers’ various accounts.
